About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist to support our Unsecured Lending Operations group. This position, sitting within Chief Operating Office's Control Management group, will be accountable for identifying, assessing, and effectively mitigating the risks for their area of coverage. This role will also work to ensure internal controls, processes, and procedures are adequate and effective; and business management understands the risks, exposures, and trends that impact their business.

In this role, you will:
- Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
- Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
- Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
- Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
- Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations
- 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Consumer Lending Product Expertise: Experience with and knowledge of Consumer Lending products, including unsecured lending products such as Credit Cards, Personal Lending, Retail Services, Co-Brand, and Overdraft.
- Issues Management Lifecycle Knowledge: Understanding of the full lifecycle of issues management including capture, planning, mitigation, monitoring, sustainability, and validation.
- Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Experience: Hands-on experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes and issue management.
- Risk Domain Support Experience: Experience supporting one or more areas of risk including Operational Risk, Technology Risk, or Compliance roles aligned to these groups.
- Control Design and Remediation Skills: Experience in designing, monitoring, and/or remediating operations and technology controls.
- Key Risk Indicator (KRI) Development: Experience in developing and/or monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Enterprise Risk Management Framework Understanding: Knowledge of enterprise risk management including risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics, and governance.
- Stakeholder Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Risk Framework and Policy Translation: Ability to understand risk frameworks, corporate/business policies, and programs, and translate them into actionable plans for the business, function, and/or risk type.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$77,000.00 - $133,000.00
