Senior Business Execution Consultant - Change Governance

About the Role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant in the Investment Portfolio Management Deposits & Payments Enablement Group as a part of Consumer Small & Business Banking. This role will ensure alignment with key stakeholder groups on strategic and foundational initiatives by tracking critical data elements such as technology commitments, readiness efforts, and change governance. The individual will manage relationships with multiple stakeholder groups, serving as the primary point of contact for work led by Deposits and Payments. Additionally, they will contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within this space.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify, schedule, facilitate, and document status of key milestones across assigned stakeholder groups, articulating path to green where appropriate
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of changes to status, timing, and dependencies of key initiatives
  • Serve as liaison between initiative sponsors, impacted stakeholders, and dependent teams to ensure alignment on obstacles, progress, and execution timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and current details on timing, status, and challenges as inputs to roadmap and investment reporting.
  • Provide consulting support to guide business teams through determining and completing readiness, technology, and governance execution steps.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement for new change event submissions, ensuring awareness, involvement, and follow-up actions.
  • Act as subject matter expert on deposits and payment change execution processes to advise and support required actions.
  • Demonstrate deep business understanding of strategic goals, operating objectives, and priorities.
  • Feed reporting insights to assess impacts on anticipated benefits and outcomes.
  • Serve as backup to change governance, reporting, and intake teams
  • Collaborate across investment portfolio management and executive leadership on roadmap changes and additions
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Project and program management experience, with a proven ability to deliver complex initiatives on time and within scope.
  • Demonstrate exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to build trust, establish rapport, and foster collaboration across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the demonstrated ability to clearly articulate complex concepts, influence stakeholders, driving alignment and decision-making across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, JIRA, and Power BI, leveraging these tools for project tracking, reporting, and data visualization
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create compelling, visually engaging presentations that effectively communicate complex strategies and data to diverse audiences
  • Strong capability to operate in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment while managing competing priorities.
  • Previous product management experience is highly desirable, providing valuable insight into strategy development, lifecycle management, and cross-functional delivery
