About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Accounting Assistant in the Adjustment department as part of Consumer and Small Business Banking Operations. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .
In this role, you will:
- Perform a variety of activities related to reconciling and balancing accounts
- Research and resolve moderately complex accounting issues and exceptions
- Resolve disputes for customers, clients and vendors, related to balancing situations
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Flexible schedule Monday-Friday, you personally scheduled your 40-hour work week.
- Start time from 6:00am-8:00am MST working an 8-hour shift, with a 30 minute to an hour lunch.
- Opportunities for Overtime
- You will receive in-depth on-the-job training, and coaching to learn about Wells Fargo banking products, procedures, and services.
- Training will be for 12 weeks. You are required to attend the full duration of this paid 12 weeks of training.
- We're open from Monday - Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm (MST). Your regular work schedule will be based on business needs.
- Training is 100% on site.
- 2+ years of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Payment Processing experience
- System knowledge of CSTAR, Operations Image Browser, Common Recon, Hogan, RE15
- Banking or financial operations experience
- Accounting experience
- Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to research and correspond with customers, responding to their questions and concerns with detailed information
- Ability to read and process checks
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
- This position will be a Hybrid, you'll work every other week on site at: 1305 West 23rd St 2nd Floor, TEMPE, AZ 85282.
