Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant to join our Global Payments and Liquidity team to be part of the transformation initiative leveraging JIRA, Confluence, Build Pipelines to accelerate development and build new capabilities. In this role you will develop solutions using best practices, enterprise frameworks, and other innovative technologies. The ideal candidate would have knowledge in designing, developing, and deploying applications leveraging LLM models and systems, with a strong focus on Prompt Engineering, Fine Tuning, RAG implementation and Agentic frameworks.

In this role, you will:
- Own support functions and day-to-day operating routines across multiple portfolios, and lead execution of large-scale strategic initiatives; set the cadence, clear blockers, and hold owners to outcomes.
- Drive operating excellence at scale-design and enforce playbooks and standards that increase efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness; run capacity & pipeline planning and re-planning across assigned workstreams.
- Research and assess moderately complex business, operational, and strategic topics; synthesize findings and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
- Exercise independent judgment to make well-reasoned decisions (not just recommendations) for support functions and programs; escalate early with options and impacts.
- Plan and land programs end-to-end (e.g., process simplification, AI adoption, scalability) with benefits realization plans and adoption/stabilization criteria baked into "definition of done."
- Collaborate with Product, CIO groups, Operations, and Finance to co-author project plans, policies, procedures, and playbooks; standardize best practices and ensure consistent governance gates and entry/exit criteria.
- Design and deliver compelling executive materials that enable stakeholder decisions-develop pre-wired narratives, craft visually engaging decision packets, shape SteerCo agendas, and ensure alignment and follow-through on outcomes.
- Maintain a single source of truth for portfolio health (schedule, scope, cost, risk); publish executive-ready dashboards and recommendations that drive timely trade-offs.
- Serve as the primary liaison for risk and control integration across EFT and ensure timely evidence and reporting of compliance.
- Maintain an integrated, cross-portfolio view of milestones and dependencies; proactively surface conflicts, orchestrate resolution paths, and protect critical timelines.
- 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years in program/portfolio execution in complex, matrixed environments - must have experience tracking multi-workstream deliverables with the ability to identify financial/operational benefits
- Demonstrated ability to align operating models and playbooks across multiple business groups and CIO teams; strong governance design and re-planning expertise.
- Proven impact improving efficiency/quality/cost with capacity management, throughput improvement, and pipeline hygiene at portfolio scale.
- Success translating strategy into executable plans with clear outcomes, guardrails, and change-adoption plans.
- Mastery across the execution lifecycle-intake, prioritization, delivery, adoption, stabilization-including dependency orchestration and benefits tracking.
- Advanced KPI/OKR and decision analytics skills; builds dashboards that inform trade-offs (Excel/Power BI/Tableau or equivalent).
- Executive communication and decision facilitation excellence (pre-wires, options, impacts, recommendation, decision log).
- Credible challenge and early-issue identification; comfortable escalating with data-backed options to achieve business outcomes.
- Experience embedding risk & control milestones (e.g., DARE/DIME, Vendor EOS, IM/SDLC) into delivery plans and evidencing compliance.
- Familiarity with banking/financial services, customer segments, and digital platforms/products; awareness of market/competitor dynamics.
- Tools: ServiceNow (work/problem/change), Jira/Confluence, Power BI, and M365; Workday familiarity is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent); advanced degree and/or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum, Lean Six Sigma) preferred
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule - ability to work in office
