Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant to drive strategic initiatives that enhance business productivity, improve new advisor sales and practice management strategies, field leadership development and promote growth across assigned markets. This role covers jobs that are responsible for supporting relationship managers or sales advisors on enhancing business productivity, advisor and leadership effectiveness and improving advisor acquisition strategy. It promotes business growth programs, improves advisor acquisition techniques, and identifies opportunities to improve sales effectiveness.
You will also be responsible for leading and facilitating sessions for the New Advisor Development Program, serving as a subject matter expert in financial advisor practice management, products, services, and planning to coach and train advisors. Additionally, you will lead and facilitate field leadership development strategy sessions on topics such as new manager onboarding, advisor coaching, financial planning, lending, market leader development and experienced advisor recruiting.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives for business development including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning initiatives and growth opportunities in assigned markets
- Review, analyze, and research complex, multi-faceted business challenges within Business Growth Strategy functional area which require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Identify and select best channels and product combinations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of coverage in marketplaces to meet the unique needs of customers
- Ensure adherence with compliance regulations and policies within Business Growth Strategy functional area
- Make decisions on complex and multi-faceted development and growth strategies for designated markets requiring solid understanding of Business Growth Strategy functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead team to meet business objectives, deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Strategically collaborate and consult with Business Growth Strategy mid-level to senior managers, colleagues, stakeholders, bankers, brokers, business leaders, and community leaders, including internal or external customers, to resolve issues, achieve growth in market share, and meet customer needs; serve as a peer mentor
- 5+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Deep understanding of compliance requirements and business growth strategies.
- Ability to lead large-scale initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners to drive growth.
- Commitment to compliance and risk management in all business activities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to assigned markets for collaboration and execution.
- Capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead and facilitate sessions for the New Advisor Development Program.
- Coach and train advisors as a subject matter expert in practice management, products, services, and planning.
- Facilitate leadership development strategy sessions on advisor coaching, planning, lending, and experienced advisor recruiting.
