About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in the Investment Portfolio Management Deposits & Payments Enablement Group as a part of Consumer Small & Business Banking to re-build major components of the business and finance investment planning and reporting processes to support strategic roadmap prioritization and annual planning. This role is focused on creating transparency and using data to make informed decisions and to create visibility and awareness on how technology capacity and investment is utilized by the deposits and payments product groups to achieve quantifiable outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop concise executive presentations and collaborate with business and technology finance teams to explain end-to-end investments, prioritization, and alignment with business strategies.
  • Create roadmap reporting in multiple formats and perspectives to support informed business decision-making.
  • Facilitate regular cadences with technology and LOB partners to assess capacity versus investment for both "change the bank" and "run the bank" initiatives.
  • Define requirements for investment reporting and establish processes to work across partner groups to achieve reporting outcomes.
  • Support financial reporting, data analytics, and roadmap reporting for deposits and payments, with potential to expand to other areas.
  • Assist in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future business and technology capacity and investment needs for supported business partners.
  • Master the full investment planning lifecycle and provide hands-on support to deposit and payment product teams.
  • Partner with deposit, payments, technology, and enablement teams on development, prioritization, and delivery of business investments.
  • Analyze historical performance and future trends to identify patterns and inform investment reporting and assumptions.
  • Drive ongoing business optimization initiatives with a focus on roadmap and investment reporting in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing roadmap reporting and analysis to ensure transparency and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Serve as backup for change governance and stakeholder management routines as needed.

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with business and technology financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of technology sizing, capacity forecasting, and related terminology to support planning and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of investment planning processes, aligning funding strategies with business priorities.
  • Proven experience with executive-level reporting, delivering clear, concise, and impactful updates.
  • Ability to aggregate and simplify large data sets into intuitive, manipulable views for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, leveraging tools for analysis, visualization, and presentations.
  • Experience in process improvement, including implementing tools and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Demonstrated initiative to iterate and develop reporting views, adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Eagerness to understand the full product and technology lifecycle, applying capacity and funding principles effectively.
  • Ability to integrate with the broader team, either directly through reporting or indirectly as a support/backup resource.
  • Work autonomously while providing timely leadership updates, ensuring transparency and accountability.
