Lead Business Accountability Specialist
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Accountability Specialist to join our Supervision Initiatives and Tools Administration team. In this role, you will work with our partners within Supervision and Governance to help drive the strategy of our supervision platforms. You will additionally partner with the product owners and engineering teams that support the day-to-day functioning of our supervision platforms. You will be expected to collaborate also with compliance, risk and legal on firm initiatives that impact our supervision platforms. Finally, this role will be an active participant in the ongoing governance of these platforms.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives with broad impact which are designed to mitigate current and emerging business risk issues and concerns; act as key participant in large-scale, cross-functional planning for the business
- Assess, analyze, and design complex and multi-faceted controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
- Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; influence and lead key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior-level managers to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Act as liaison for the business with external parties to support timeliness, appropriate response strategy, and effectiveness of communications and materials
- May lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
- 5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strategic planning and development experience, including the ability to contribute to initiatives and drive results
- Ability to partner and collaborate with business partners, technology partners and across all leadership levels
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to influence at all levels of leadership
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, identify opportunities and implement change
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in one or a combination of the following: Compliance, Supervision, Governance, Regulatory
- Knowledge and understanding of platform testing
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
