Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to help lead Multi-National Corporations (MNC) Subsidiary Coverage within Corporate & Investment Banking. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
The MNC Relationship Manager will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with a broad portfolio of US-based subsidiaries of a diverse group of non-US based companies. The Relationship Manager will work in tandem with the Global Corporate Banking teams primarily based in London, Frankfurt and Dublin to provide comprehensive coverage of Corporate Banking clients in EMEA. As a senior coverage banker, the Relationship Manager will be responsible for guidance and development of mid-level bankers engaged in client coverage efforts across the portfolio. As a leader on the MNC team, the Relationship Manager will be responsible for helping develop and execute client coverage projects and initiatives including client engagement events and activities.

This position requires Corporate and/or Commercial Banking experience and expertise in traditional banking and capital markets products. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to develop and manage complex relationships with a broad range of corporate clients to deliver the full platform of Wells Fargo's capabilities. Multi-National Corporate Coverage experience and a strong working knowledge of Treasury Management are a plus. This role will report to the head of MNC Subsidiary Coverage and the head of Industrials Corporate Banking.
In this role, you will:
- Manage direct client interaction, including directing and coordinating execution of transactions with key product partners
- Develop and manage dialogue with key US stakeholders and decision makers
- Collaborate with coverage bankers in EMEA to provide comprehensive global coverage to large, financially complex clients
- Collaborate and consult with peers, internal partners and stakeholders to deliver the full suite of WF products and services including, but not limited to credit, treasury management, macro solutions, global receivables & trade, capital markets, and ABF
- Present recommendations for growing and maintaining a portfolio of profitable clients through pro-active, strategic, and consistent business development and client retention efforts
- Partner with mid-level bankers providing guidance on relationship management and client coverage efforts
- Provide coaching and feedback to mid-level bankers to facilitate skill development and career advancement
- Assume ownership for implementing strategic and innovative business solutions to enhance client engagement
- 7+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in Corporate & Investment Banking
- Proven leadership experience
- History of managing teams and developing mid-level talent
- Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- High level of initiative and accountability
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
- Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
- Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
- 30%-50% domestic travel
- This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

- Base pay range for this position in New York City is $250,000.00
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
