Sr. Rheology Sales Specialist

Yesterday Guangzhou, China

Overview

Role overview

We are looking for a technically strong, customer-facing Rheology Sales Specialist to grow TA Instruments rheology business in your territory. You will combine deep application understanding with consultative selling to help customers select the right rheology solution and win share in a highly competitive market.

This is a high-impact specialist role: you will lead technical conversations end-to-end, develop competitive strategies, and drive predictable pipeline to deliver AOP and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Key responsibilities

    You will:

    • Own the rheology product portfolio in your territory and position TA Instruments' differentiation clearly (e.g., measurement performance, ease of use, application breadth).
    • Run consultative discovery with R&D/QC labs (industry, universities, institutes) to translate application needs into a winning technical and commercial proposal.
    • Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, opportunity qualification, demos/workshops with application team, proposal/tender support, negotiation, and close.
    • Build and execute competitive strategies to win against key competitors; capture and share competitive intelligence.
    • Develop a healthy, forecastable pipeline; maintain accurate CRM (e.g., Compass) data, funnel hygiene, and monthly forecasts.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally (applications, product management, marketing, service, channel partners) to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and identify upsell/upgrade opportunities.
