Senior Marketing & Commercial Operations Specialist ANZ
Overview
As Senior Marketing & Commercial Operations Specialist, this role will have primary responsibility for driving demand generation, marketing execution, and pipeline creation across the ANZ market.
This role will take end-to-end ownership of marketing campaigns, from strategy through execution to pipeline generation, working closely with Inside Sales and Field Sales to ensure effective conversion of marketing activity into revenue.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
• Own the development and execution of the ANZ marketing plan aligned to key growth segments and commercial priorities
• Translate regional and global campaigns into locally relevant execution plans
• Identify target accounts, segments, and opportunities to drive pipeline growth.
• Share ANZ Voice of Customer (VOC) back to the Regional and Global products and segment teams to ensure ANZ has the tools and resources to win.

Demand Generation & Campaign Execution (END-TO-END OWNERSHIP)
• Own end-to-end execution of all marketing campaigns including seminars, webinars, digital campaigns, and account-based marketing initiatives
• Develop campaign messaging, targeting, and value propositions aligned to customer needs
• Manage all aspects of campaign delivery including logistics, vendors, invitations, and execution
• Ensure consistent and high-quality execution of all marketing activities across ANZ
Pipeline & Funnel Management
• Own marketing contribution to pipeline generation and funnel health across ANZ
• Define campaign targets and track performance against pipeline and revenue goals
• Work closely with Inside Sales to ensure timely follow-up and conversion of all marketing-generated leads
• Monitor and optimize conversion rates from lead generation through to opportunity creation
Lead Management & Commercial Alignment
• Ensure all marketing-generated leads are effectively captured, tracked, and handed over to Inside Sales
• Partner closely with Inside Sales to align on lead quality, follow-up processes, and conversion outcomes
• Provide continuous feedback to improve lead quality and campaign effectiveness
Commercial Operations & Reporting
• Track and report on campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and return on investment
• Support CRM discipline and ensure marketing activities are accurately reflected in pipeline reporting
• Deliver concise and relevant updates on marketing performance and business impact
Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement
• Gather and analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities
• Continuously refine marketing approaches based on performance data and feedback
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and ROI of marketing activities
• Lead the ANZ Voice of Customer (VOC) program for operational improvements and strategic insights.
General Business & Operational Support
• Contribute to shared business operations and administrative responsibilities as required, supporting the effective execution of marketing and commercial activities and ensuring continuity of ANZ business operations
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Science, or related field
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within scientific, pharmaceutical, or technical industries
- Proven experience in demand generation, campaign execution, and pipeline development
- Experience working closely with sales teams in a commercial environment
Skills:
- Strong commercial mindset with focus on pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Ability to execute marketing programs independently in a hands-on environment
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms preferred
