The Sourcing and Reverse Logistics Manager will be the leader of the sourcing function in the new CPO (certified pre-owned) program at Waters, responsible for building and executing the instrument sourcing strategy from the ground up. Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
- Experience with reverse logistics, trade-in programs, or secondary market sourcing preferred
- Demonstrated experience building sourcing functions, supplier networks, or procurement processes in a new business or startup environment
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost targets
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong self-direction and accountability
- Excellent analytical skills and make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication skills; able to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership remotely
- Willingness to travel 25-40% as required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
Preferred
- Experience in scientific instruments, medical devices, capital equipment, or similar industries
- Familiarity with refurbishment, remanufacturing, or certified pre-owned business models
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software
- MBA or advanced degree
