As Application Chemist, this role will combine excellent scientific skills with strong commercial business acumen, and the desire to contribute to the customers' success by helping them choose the best system solution from Waters product portfolio to address the customers' analytical challenges. The Applications Chemist will do sample analysis across multiple types of applications (not limited to), Food & Environment, Chemical Materials, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences with a focus on HRMS instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Focusing on high-end HRMS products, conduct regular technical communication with the headquarters team, and collaborate closely with local technical and service teams to develop application cases.
- Provide internal training and external marketing promotion for HRMS products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to demonstrate the advanced capabilities and applications of high-end HRMS products through demo experiments, project partnerships, and other forms of engagement.
- Provide strong support to key customers, assisting them in developing or expanding applications. Partner with KOLs to drive project collaborations and maintain technological leadership.

Qualifications
Education:
- Master's Degree or PhD in scientific areas such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry or pharmacology
Experience:
- 5+ years of HRMS user experience.
- Understanding HRMS application markets such as omics, TCM, pharma research, or unknown screening. Work experience in both application and marketing is a plus.
Skills:
- Possess a deep understanding of HRMS technology to effectively communicate its advantages and applications to internal and external customers.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities to convey ideas clearly and persuasively
- Positive attitude to learn and share
- Open-minded and collaborative
- Highly organized / well-prepared / time management skills
- Adaptive to a dynamic and ever-changing environment
