Pricing Analyst APAC & India
Overview
Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for an India and APAC Pricing Analyst for our Waters Division Organization. Waters Division includes our commercial engine for Waters Corporation, providing Sales, Service, Marketing, Technical and other support across the globe.
This position will report directly to the Principal Financial Analyst - Revenue and plays a high-visibility role in driving pricing excellence across the two Regions with responsibility for (1) reporting and analysing price realization and discount metrics, (2) conducting in-depth pricing analyses to identify key product and market drivers as well as barriers to price optimization, and (3) leading price-enhancing strategies such as promotional initiatives, annual list price adjustments, and supporting product launches.
The reporting manager is based in Singapore, while this role is in India, requiring close virtual collaboration and occasional travel to Singapore.
The position would be located at Waters Peenya office , Bengaluru
Responsibilities
- Reporting & Metrics: Prepare and maintain accurate weekly/monthly reports on price realization, discount percentages, stick rate percentages and related pricing KPIs to provide visibility into performance and trends.
- Pricing Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of each country's pricing structure, market conditions and product performance to identify key drivers and barriers to price optimization. Use insights to recommend actionable strategies.
- Price-Enhancing Strategies: Support and execute initiatives to improve pricing outcomes, including promotional campaigns, annual list price adjustments, and targeted discount strategies.
- Product Launch & Life Cycle Management: Collaborate with countries' marketing and commercial teams to develop pricing recommendation for new product launches.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build trust relationship in each country as you work closely with finance, sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and execution. Develop deep understanding of countries specificities, pricing structure, market landscape & challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Masters preferred. Recent graduates are welcome.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to work with data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions. Prepare clear reports and dashboards for stakeholders. High level of attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy and quality of data reporting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is required. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn quickly through structured training and mentorship and take on new challenges in a dynamic environment. Curious and proactive in learning about pricing strategies, market trends, and analytics tools.
- Communication: Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Work closely with finance, sales, marketing and product teams on pricing projects.
- Cultural Awareness: Comfortable working in a diverse, global team and adapting to different perspectives.
