Manufacturing Operator

Overview

As a Manufacturing Operator within the Chemistry Consumables Department, we will rely on you to manufacturing the highest quality of our products for our customers (Pharmaceutical and Environmental) worldwide. The Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) devices are used as a crude sample cleanup in sample preparation prior to being injecting onto a Column which in turn separates out the components within the sample base on their chemical properties. We are strongly focussed on delivering high Quality products to our customers.This role operates on a two-shift cycle (e.g. day and evening shifts) on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

In this exciting job opportunity, you will collaborate with a diverse team who are accountable for the manufacture of Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) devices.

As part of a team, you will be responsible for:

• Assembly & boxing of SPE devices following specific defined processes
• Operating automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring consistent output and adherence to quality standards
• Generate documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
• Be creative in identifying productivity improvements, efficiency and high levels of quality.
• Develop strong working relationships with team members and other departments.

Qualifications

• Educated to Leaving Certificate level or equivalent.
• Work on own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A flexible work ethic and enjoys working in a team environment.
• A keenness to develop and grow
• Working with automated machinery

Desirable but not essential:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
