Overview

The HR Generalist (mid-Level) is a key partner in driving operational excellence and supports HR initiatives that have a positive outcome for the business. This professional ensures seamless execution of HR processes while actively contributing to employee engagement, organizational culture, and business growth. The role requires a proactive, data-driven, and collaborative approach to support leadership and employees in all HR-related matters.

Responsibilities

Payroll/Leave Management

  • Manage and review payroll processes accurately and timely.
  • Successful implementation of eLeave in SuccessFactors
  • Administer terminations, resignations, and comply to the formal validation of the termination of employment contract.
  • Ensure compliance with labor-related charges (INSS, FGTS) and legal obligations.
  • Oversee alimony payments and payroll deductions via vendor portal
  • Liaise with payroll provider to ensure process efficiency and improvement.

Benefits

  • Facilitate implementation of new corporate benefits when proceeding and provide ongoing employee support (employee support should be through the vendor. Agreed).
  • Interact with benefits' broker to identify discrepancies in benefits delivery and recognize opportunities for process improvement.
  • Process the enrollment and termination of employees and dependents in the benefits plans.
  • Prepare detailed monthly reports on benefits, costs and utilization.

HR administration tasks

  • Request, receive and review onboarding documentation based on local regulations and needs.
  • Prepare information about HR metrics and KPIs performance. (which information/data)
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Employees' relations

  • Supports initiatives related to employees' engagement, culture initiatives, and recognition strategies.
  • Assists the preparation of union negotiations by providing key information for the development of different scenarios.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Solid experience in payroll, benefits, and HR reporting.
  • Knowledge of HR systems (SAP, Success factors, ADP or equivalent).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with data analysis is a plus.
  • English desirable
