Field Service Team Leader

The Field Service Team Leader role has a primary responsibility in managing a team of Field Service Engineers to deliver a best in class service to our customers. They drive top performance and engagement from their team who support a wide variety of Waters products and software in our customers laboratories.

Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a team of Field service Engineers based in France primarily focused on HRMS systems
- Collaborating with the other team leaders to improve the efficiency of the service organization
- Proactively focus on service operations to drive service delivery improvements and efficiency gains ensuring a high a level of customer satisfaction.
- Providing support to your team to ensure functional projects in your department are delivered in a manner complimentary to the organisation;
- Manage escalations within your territory collaborating effectively cross-functionally with other Waters resource pools such as our Global Service Support & HQ organizations to ensure prompt and successful resolutions.
- Provide guidance and coaching to Field Service Engineers, including facilitating access to internal resources to help overcome complex technical issues and challenges.
- Working with the business management team to harmonize processes and elaborate resources;
- Being responsible for providing regular reporting to European & Corporate headquarters;
- Warrant compliance amongst your team regarding Waters processes and procedures, customer SOPs, local legislation and health and safety rules and protocols.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Chemistry or Biology, engineering or other science related field is desired, will also consider applications with equivalent experience, training and education.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation, preference for previous Waters product suite (HPLC/UPLC, LC/MS, HRMS, SFC, Informatics)
- An understanding of GMP/GLP requirements;
- Ability to lead a team and implement plans developed by the management team
- Experience in successfully driving organisational change;

- You will have adequate organising, planning and analytical skills;

- You will have ability to provide support to other functions of the organisation as a business partner;
- You will be able to maintain composure under pressure
- Proficient English
Travel:
- A clean driving license and a valid passport will be required;
- This is a crossed location position with occasional travels to other territories/countries for activities such as governance of department, local business support, meetings and training.
