Overview
As Chemistry Account Manager, you are an ambassador of Waters and will bring to the market Waters' products and services. You will demonstrates a clear grasp of understanding the customers' business and its growth plans, as well as be able to take the knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing "customer success". This position brings you a great degree of flexibility working in the field. Your role will be designated to either a territory and/or markets.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow consumables sales across Pharma, Biopharma, Chemical Materials, Food, Environmental, and Academia markets.
- Engage new and existing customers through virtual meetings, calls, and digital platforms, with selective onsite visits.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers and business partners while developing new accounts.
- Execute account and territory plans aligned with regional business objectives.
- Plan and support customer seminars, webinars, and workshops (virtual and onsite).
- Provide technical and application-level guidance on chemistry consumables and related workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Instrument Sales, Applications and Service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Support consumables and LC solution demonstrations where required.
- Utilize CRM and Quotation systems to manage opportunities and forecasts accurately.
- Act as a technical sponsor to customers post-installation, supporting training and adoption where needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, applications, or technical support within the life sciences or analytical industry.
- Experience with LC, LC-MS, and chemistry consumables (e.g. LC columns, SPE) is highly advantageous.
