Bio Account Manager II
Overview
The Biologics Commercial team is directly responsible for customers primarily engaged in large molecule work. The Bio Account Manager drives and grows the biologics business across the entire Waters product portfolio: analytical instruments, informatics software and consumables.
The Bio Account Manager II plays a key role in supporting the Biologics Commercial team by managing accounts within a defined market segment and driving revenue growth through consultative selling. This position focuses on territory planning, customer engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions. Building on your foundational experience, you will manage medium-sized accounts, contribute to strategic sales initiatives, and help expand adoption of Waters' portfolio, including analytical instruments, informatics software, and consumables.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound sales activities to identify and develop opportunities.
- Develop and execute territory plans to achieve growth objectives.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase Waters' solutions.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers by understanding their application needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Track sales metrics, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and provide timely updates on pipeline status.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to support customer engagement and drive product adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or business-related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales or customer-facing experience, preferably in a technical or laboratory environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and virtual communication platforms.
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to team objectives.
