Your New Role...

Warner Bros. Discovery is a premiere global media and entertainment company and we are looking for a superstar Intern to join our team for 12 months. You will be a key member of the UK Sports Marketing team reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager.

You'll be working on the phenomenal portfolio of sports rights on TNT Sports in the UK. This includes the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Gallagher Premiership Rugby, Premiership Women's Rugby, topflight boxing, UFC, MotoGP, cricket and much more. The role will provide a full view of the sports marketing process from briefing creative teams (internal and external) through to delivery to media channels, covering On Air promotional assets, outdoor advertising, CRM, digital advertising, and others.

You will also support the CRM, Partnerships, and Trade Marketing teams in collating requests and ensuring timely delivery of assets that serve to achieve the wider company targets.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Collate assets for sports marketing campaigns, help to keep the master documents updated with the latest priorities, any changes to dates, etc.
  • Work closely with the UK Streaming marketing team to ensure synergies between TNT Sports and discovery+ campaigns. Including specific support for CRM and performance marketing assets, allowing your deep knowledge of sport to inform creative.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partner and affiliate comms around TNT Sports are as compelling as possible. Provide copy suggestions, image suggestions and check work as appropriate whilst trafficking approvals.
  • Assisting the marketing team with campaign performance evaluation and monitoring of competitor activity and the latest trends across the sporting landscape.
  • Support the team on creating presentations for internal and external use.
  • Help out on key events with guest lists, attendee management and on the ground help.
  • Work to build your knowledge as a brand guardian for all our channels' brands.
  • Source key art, clips and promos.
  • Create and update high quality presentations and excel spreadsheets, supporting events when required.
  • Developing briefs that are submitted to the creative team for development into promotional concepts and edits.


Qualifications & Experience...

  • You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2028.
  • Passion for sport is essential.
  • Passion for TV/Streaming, marketing and all things media is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to multitask managing a number of projects simultaneously, organisation is key to this role.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment working with multiple internal and external contacts, within the UK and global teams.
  • Good creative appraisal and attention to detail.
  • Able to build, develop and maintain relationships to optimise campaign and partner efficiency across the organization.

  • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 8th February.
  • Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in February.
  • Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place in April.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
