Your New Role

The Theatre Ventures Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the development, production, and business strategy for Warner Bros.' theatrical projects, including Broadway, regional, and touring productions. Based in New York City, this role blends high-level Executive Assistant responsibilities with hands-on coordination for both creative and operational priorities. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for theatre, strong organizational skills, and the ability to navigate seamlessly between artistic and business needs.

Your Role Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the EVP, including complex calendar management, domestic and international travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics; prepare agendas, compile materials, draft correspondence, and manage follow-up actions.
  • Serve as primary point of contact between the EVP and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and clear information flow.
  • Maintain and organize departmental files, production archives, and key reference materials.
  • Manage ticket requests, theatre attendance schedules, and VIP hospitality for productions.


Project & Production Coordination
  • Support active and upcoming theatrical productions (Broadway, regional, touring) through operational coordination, tracking key deliverables, and liaising with creative and production teams.
  • Maintain project timelines, production calendars, and status trackers to ensure alignment with creative, financial, and contractual milestones.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and production summaries for internal leadership and external partners.


Financial & Analytical Support
  • Track and reconcile production budgets, invoices, and payments.
  • Support analysis of P&L statements, ROI metrics, and budget projections to align financial outcomes with creative objectives.
  • Assist with vendor management, including contracts, purchase orders, and payment processing.


Creative Research
  • Attend readings, workshops, and industry events as a representative for the Theatre Ventures team.
  • Conduct research on potential creative talent, industry trends, and comparable productions.
  • Assist in script review, workshopping, and select marketing or press initiatives for productions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with venues, creative partners, and industry contacts.


Business Development
  • Research and identify potential opportunities for stage adaptations or brand extensions leveraging Warner Bros. IP.
  • Assist in evaluating creative and commercial viability of new projects, including rights research and competitive landscape analysis.


Qualifications & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Production Coordinator, or similar role; theatre, live entertainment, or media experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor when interacting with senior executives and creative professionals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of theatrical production processes and industry standards is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, Business, Theatre, or related field preferred.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $44,102.00 - $81,904.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
