The Media Supply Chain team builds applications and services, that power Warner Bros content pipeline. Our applications cover the entire breadth of the media supply chain, from ideation to distribution to over 2,000 partners. We have a robust global community of thousands of internal Warner Bros users who rely on our apps every day to get television and films produced, on the air, and onto Discovery+, HBO Max, and beyond.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- WBD is seeking an experienced Staff Product Manager in agile product development practices to work on Media Supply Chain product offerings.
- Product Vision and Strategy: Your role will primarily focus to develop product vision, strategy, roadmap planning and drive the OKRs commitments and ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs for Observability products
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas improve customer experience, that create operational efficiencies across the organization
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Own and drive multiple initiatives/ features assigned to complex and strategic platform product areas and effectively prioritize, negotiate and perform expectation setting with stakeholders for conflicting and competing priorities.
- Translate ideas into written product pitch, lean canvas, a business use case. On-going collaboration with product lead and technology team to complete discovery of an initiative
- Derive strategy and planning basis impact and leverage metrics to set priorities and work with multiple stakeholders (Engineering, Global Content Operators, design, product) to drive business and customer impact
- Evaluate Media Supply Chain planning to ensure consistency with Observability product strategy
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of Observability tools and strategies
- Represent Media Supply Chain by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
- Product Development & Lifecycle Management - Overseeing the entire lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous improvement by adopting iterative product development cycle.

- Gather quantitative and qualitative information from business users, legacy platforms landscape and perform analysis to come up with opportunity, differentiation and propose product positioning to stakeholders.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable product features
- Basis the prioritization, perform deep dive into existing tools and workflows to define product requirement document defining the scope, prototype, requirements and walkthrough the same with stakeholders to achieve a sign off ensuring product North star strategy is aligned
- Create KPIs for measurement and track the same and enable the information to be consumed by stakeholders. Leverage analytics to track performance, A/B testing, optimize features, and enhance user experience and to make informed decisions.
- Post adoption drive enhancements to bring in seamless experience and usability, define MVP of the product to a select audience to gather feedback before a full-scale iterative rollout.
- Drive and communicate product launches including working with operations teams, program management teams, and technology leadership
- Develop product plan and contribute to overall Observability product strategy
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick execution and optimal resources
- Data structure, change events and API driven updates
- Snowflake, Tableau and Lookr
- Knowledge of observability systems, APIs, Kafka-based architectures.
- Comfort working with engineering on schema, workflows, validation rules.
- Moving towards the self-serve platform which customers can visualize and consume
strategy, standards with respect to architecture, security, corporate governance, coding standards, monitoring, logging, unit test, and service enablement.

Skills & Competencies
- Ability to define and drive product strategy and roadmap and align stakeholders
- Ability to influence and collaborate in multisite cross-functional teams.
- Ability to drive product in alignment with product strategy and north-star definition.
- Proven work experience in product management and/or observability tooling and reporting
- Ability to define and drive quarterly product roadmap and align stakeholders and call out other product dependencies in forums and align prioritization
- Ability to identify gaps, program risks and take pre-emptive actions to address them.
- Passionate self-starter with a no-excuses, can-do attitude and drive initiatives independently
- Demonstrated knowledge of Agile/Scrum; SAFe experience a plus but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical writing & visualization skills
- Strong execution and product delivery skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
What to Bring:
- 12- 15 years of intensive and extensive product experience
- Must have led / managed product development and worked with engineering teams to drive software development.
- Good Understanding on Product Life cycle Management.
- Must have experience in defining and documenting system interactions, high level data flows and component architecture.
- Should be familiar with various Software Development Life Cycles
- Must have strong product and project management skills and bring transparency into product development/roadmap delivery.
- Domain knowledge in the Media and Entertainment space will be a plus.
- Must have worked on globally distributed product development projects.
