The Senior Developer, Workday Integration will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining Workday integration solutions within the organization. This position is based in Hyderabad and is responsible for ensuring seamless integration of Workday with other enterprise systems, addressing any technical challenges that arise.
As a key contributor to the Workday Integrations team, the Senior Workday Integration Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective management and support of Workday integrations. The focus will be on developing integration solutions, troubleshooting issues, and continuous improvement of Workday integration processes.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing Workday integration solutions, providing technical support for integration issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of integration projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in Workday integration development.
Your Role Accountabilities:
INTEGRATION DEVELOPMENT (40%)
- Design and develop Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIBs, and Workday Web Services.
- Ensure seamless integration of Workday with other enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain integration documentation and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
- Monitor integration performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT (30%)
- Provide technical support for integration issues and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system updates, patches, and enhancements.
- Maintain documentation of technical processes and support procedures for Workday integrations.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Workday integration-related queries.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT (20%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, IT, and business units.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure alignment on integration initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to translate requirements and ensure successful implementation of integration projects.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on Workday integration processes and best practices.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (10%)
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within Workday integrations.
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance the efficiency of integration processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in Workday integration development.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for Workday integrations.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- 5+ years of experience in Workday integration development, preferably within HRIS or related fields.
- Proven track record of designing and developing Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIBs, and Workday Web Services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Not Required but preferred experience:
- Experience with programming languages like Java, XML, and XSLT.
- Familiarity with middleware platforms and data integration tools.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
