The Job

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and document systems supporting and integrating internal platforms that enable consumption of sports content across various screens and devices. This role is also responsible to build and maintain mission-critical applications, systems, and workflows.

NCAA Digital brings to life one of the world's biggest sporting events for millions of fans every year - March Madness. TNT Sports' partnership with the NCAA encompasses products, content, and experiences across every possible platform - from iPhones to Facebook, and everything in between. Beyond March Madness, NCAA Digital covers 91 NCAA Championships for passionate college sports fans - including exci7ng events like the Frozen Four and College World Series.

Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team to help us con7nue to deliver world-class experiences to our college sports fans.

Start of Mission: ASAP

Offices: WBD Atlanta is preferred


Responsibilities


  • Lead the development of complex front-end features using React and related technologies.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable UI components and front-end systems.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, accessible interfaces.
  • Op7mize applica7ons for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold front-end best prac7ces.
  • Stay current with front-end trends and advocate for modern tools and workflows.

Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript
  • Experience with one or more UI framework such as React or Vue.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Pinia).
  • Familiarity with modern build tools and bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Vitest).
  • Working knowledge of Drupal and PHP.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

Bonus Skills

  • Experience building Progressive Web Applica7ons (PWAs)
  • Experience with high-performance, high-availability, high-scale applica7ons in produc7on environments.
  • Experience integra7ng and leveraging AI/ML
