Your New Role...

Senior Manager, Client Engineering reports to the Senior Director, Client Engineering and Solutions Architecture International and is accountable for team management and designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions that power our advertising technology stack.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Technical Leadership & Strategy
  • Define and drive the technical vision for advertising platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability requirements.
  • Lead architectural decisions for cloud-native solutions and guide modernization initiatives.


Team Management & Development
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee resource planning, performance reviews, and career development for team members.


Delivery & Execution Oversight
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of engineering projects by establishing best practices, KPIs, and governance processes.
  • Collaborate with program management to prioritize initiatives and manage dependencies.


Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Product, Data, and Operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Represent engineering in stakeholder discussions and communicate progress effectively.


Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance platform capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Champion automation, observability, and security best practices across the engineering organization.


Qualifications & Experience...

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years in software engineering, including at least 4-5 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing engineering teams and large-scale projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of modern software architecture, cloud-native platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and distributed systems. Ability to guide technical decisions rather than hands-on coding.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with AdTech ecosystems, advertising workflows, and related technologies such as identity resolution, campaign execution and monetization strategies.
  • Leadership & People Management: Proven track record of managing and mentoring engineering teams, driving performance and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Strategic Delivery: Experience in defining technical roadmaps, aligning engineering initiatives with business objectives, and managing cross- functional dependencies.
  • Collaboration: Ability to partner effectively with Product, Data, and Operations teams, influencing stakeholders and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated ability to evaluate emerging technologies, champion automation, and implement best practices for scalability, security, and observability.
