Your New Role:
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing scalable and robust custom Salesforce solutions that automate and enhance business processes. This position will work independently and as part of a team to build applications.
Your Role Accountabilities:
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
- Develop Salesforce applications based on business requirements while ensuring best practices.
- Maintains awareness and knowledge of all Salesforce releases and features and can implement updates as needed.
- Provides production support and resolves issues quickly and efficiently.
DEVELOPMENT
- Builds and maintains custom applications and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APIs and other Salesforce technologies.
- Completes all unit testing.
- Participates in stakeholder meetings as needed.
- Follows established coding standards.
STRATEGY/DESIGN
- Provides input into architectural and technical decisions.
- Provides input into strategic direction of the applications.
- Creates and has input into project documentation including technical design specifications.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- 5+ years of experience required programming Salesforce solutions
- Superior analytical skills
- Must be able to juggle multiple projects and shift priorities with ease
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Expertise with Lightning Web Components, Salesforce data modeling, security and sharing rules
- Expertise in configuring and designing Flows
- Expertise in designing and developing Integration Solutions using Web Services, REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience writing batch classes using the Bulk API
- Experience with enterprise-level applications and architecture
- Advanced SQL/SOQL
- Experience with Github and CI/CD scripting
- Platform Developer 1 Certification (Preferred)
- Platform App Builder Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Application Architect (Preferred)
Functional Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent analytical skills, interpretive and evaluative skills
- Outstanding documentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
