This role will be integral to the creative development and original content production team. Playing a critical role in all future and ongoing productions for the Warner Bros. Discovery Kids Network, with special emphasis on aiding execution of current local IPs. Must facilitate strong collaboration across teams, including Operations, Programming and Communication to ensure seamless execution. Responsibilities also include managing relationships with production studios, working closely with writers to develop new story arcs, and evaluating potential partnerships to ensure timely production of shows.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Content Development
- Ideate and develop compelling content targeting kids in India.
- Identify need gaps on the channels and shortlist relevant content themes to fill the need gaps.
- Contribute to development of series bible, characters, setup and target genre.
2) Execution of Current Projects
- Work closely with script writers to drive gripping narratives as per channel requirements.
- Quality check and inputs at various stages of production including voice selection, animatic, animation, BG's, colour, lighting, background music and final mixing.
- Maintain essence of the show as per target genre and avoid deviance from original concept.
- Work with the senior producer to ideate season arcs, story ideas and pro-actively drive the new direction for the existing IPs.
- Identify strong storytelling formats by analyzing the minute on minute trends of the strongest movies.
3) Maintaining Relationships with Production Houses & Studios
- Identify and maintain records of all production houses across India including team size, speciality (2d, 3d, harmony etc) and delivery capabilities.
- Distribution of content for execution amongst production houses.
- Liaising with production teams across the region for optimum utilisation of available resources without compromising with quality.
- Maintain relations with production teams and ensure timely execution of episodes / movies as per yearly plans.
4) Research & Analysis
- Keeping track of all show launches and existing shows working in the category.
- Regular review and analysis of competitive shows and sharing content insights with the team.
- Identify traits that are resonating with the kids from shows across category and incorporate the same in shows executed at our end.
- Be curious and aware about new developments, trends shaping the kids genre and changing consumer habits.

Job Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent experience in any stream of education
- Ability to familiarize and gain expertise on creative and managerial softwares.
- Years of experience: Minimum 8-12 years' in Commercial Broadcast (Radio / TV - kids genre preferred), with good exposure in a creative / dubbing / production department.
- Broad knowledge and experience in scriptwriting, playwrights, book authors, and an understanding of the local tv production industry.
- Ability to lead script development process without close supervision.
- Experience as a show runner/ producer for animated TV shows, proactively managing/supervising all aspects of an animation - including animatic, animation, music, voice-overs, to final delivery.
- Experience in supervising the preparation of production schedules and budgets, as well as pre-production, production and post-production workflows.
Shift Timings:- 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM IST
