Studio Tour Shanghai - The Making of Harry Potter, a completely new experience for Harry Potter fans in China.
Located in the heart of the city, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Shanghai - The Making of Harry Potter is an indoor attraction designed to transport visitors into the world of filmmaking, revealing production secrets through interactive experiences, showcasing stunning sets, and displaying beautifully crafted props.
This new attraction will deliver the Studio Tour values of exceptional customer service, experiences that exceed visitors' expectations and the very best in Harry Potter retail.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Shanghai will be operated in partnership with Jinjiang International (Holdings) Co., Ltd, a State-Owned Enterprise, ensuring a world-class experience for all who visit.
Your New Role - Procurement Manager

Your Role Accountabilities
The purpose of the role is to lead all procurement activities for WBSTS. The core mandate is to drive both guest experience and profitability by securing the right products, services, and partnerships that directly enhance the tour experience while optimizing total cost of ownership.
- Establishes a strong relationship with all WBSTS stakeholders, acting as the dedicated procurement lead for the tour business.
- Builds a strong understanding of WBSTS's strategic business direction, objectives, requirements, and priorities across all categories.
- Effectively works with functional and business groups as a trusted advisor to identify sourcing opportunities, develop and implement sourcing strategies specifically for WBSTS, delivering against business objectives.
- Recommends and implements procurement processes and policies, taking into account WBSTS's local business needs and practices.
- Is resourceful in obtaining relevant information for developing new category strategies and supporting decisions within the category and/or sourcing engagements for the business unit.
- Conducts comprehensive supplier analysis including new supplier due diligence.
- Compiles and synthesizes both business requirements and external market conditions to develop optimal category strategy with full understanding of potential shortfalls and risk mitigation plans.
- Develops and assembles required RFI and RFP to facilitate sourcing strategy development.
- Leads the entire RFP process, which includes leading cross-functional teams in selecting partners to facilitate requirements.
- Leads and develops negotiation strategies, contract analyses, sourcing communications, and meetings.
- Collaborates with stakeholders and legal counsel to lead negotiations and contract coordination.
- Work closely with Chief Operations Director to align procurement strategy with operational delivery
- Has the necessary business acumen to be thoroughly conversant in the intent and rationale behind contract provisions from a business as well as legal perspective, and acts as a liaison between the contracting entities, legal groups, and other parties as necessary.
- Proactively gathers, synthesizes, and applies learnings and best practices from the Studio Tours in Tokyo and Leavesden to continuously improve WBSTS's procurement processes, category strategies, and supplier management approaches.
- Ensure compliance with PRC construction, safety, import/export, and tax/invoicing (Fapiao) regulations, alongside U.S. corporate governance standards (including applicable SOX-style controls) and anti-bribery/anti-corruption policies.
- Proactively identify and mitigate supplier, delivery, and operational risks, and fully support internal and external audits by maintaining transparent, audit-ready procurement records and control evidence

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven strategy, operations, and sourcing experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment with demonstrated people management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage centralized or shared procurement resources - experience within a joint venture or shared services model is highly preferred.
- Proven project management experience, excellent communication skills, ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, and a team-building work style for a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in working with executives in formulating and executing business strategy. Proven experience in acting as a cultural bridge between JV partners
- Strong supplier management/performance measurement monitoring experience.
- Must be knowledgeable of, and experienced in, the application of Strategic Sourcing best practices.
- Strong project leader with emphasis on execution, multi-tasking & managing multiple priorities.
- Able to gain trust, strong service orientation, impeccable customer focus with the ability to influence others in a collaborative and diplomatic manner.
- Ability to manage multiple projects & tasks that may be occurring simultaneously with tight timelines.
- Strong business English.
Shanghai Joint Venture Employment:
Please note that this position is employed through Warner Bros. Discovery's joint venture with Jin Jiang International (Holdings) Co., Ltd. The joint venture entity is Shanghai WB Jinjiang Studio Tour Co., Ltd. Successful candidates will be hired by the joint venture company and assigned to work with Warner Bros. Discovery as required for this project.
