This is a temporary position
Your Role
As an OTTO Operator, you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and incident escalation of OTT and digital platforms. You will support live streaming events, content recordings, and asset management activities, ensuring platform stability, content availability, and a high-quality viewing experience. Working closely with internal teams and external vendors, you will proactively identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues while following established operational procedures.

Areas of Responsibility
Live Event & Content Operations:
- Create, update, and configure assets for digital live events.
- Operate live streaming events and real-time content recordings following established SOPs.
- Execute Digital Ad Insertion processes to ensure proper content and advertising delivery.
Platform Monitoring & Incident Management:
- Monitor operational dashboards and alerts to identify potential issues in real time.
- Log, update, and track incidents through ticketing systems, ensuring compliance with established SLAs.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate teams and actively follow up through resolution.
- Troubleshoot basic platform, content, and delivery issues, performing initial analysis when required.
Quality Control & Platform Health:
- Perform sanity checks across devices and OTT platforms to validate content availability and user experience.
- Help ensure platform stability, content accuracy, and operational excellence across supported services.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain the health and performance of digital platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating live events for television, streaming, or digital platforms.
- Experience in the operation and monitoring of OTT platforms, digital services, or live event environments.
- Intermediate English level.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to react effectively in time-sensitive situations.
- Willingness to learn, improve processes, and contribute to operational excellence.
- Basic understanding of Live Streaming and VOD workflows, including: Transcoding, Content Delivery Networks (CDN), Metadata, Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Technical degree, university studies, or equivalent experience in Networking, Telecommunications, Multimedia, Image & Sound, Audiovisual Production, Systems, or related fields.
Nice to Have
- Basic programming knowledge.
- Networking fundamentals.
- Experience with testing methodologies and processes, including QA, UAT, and Smoke Testing.
- Familiarity with digital media workflows, content delivery, and streaming technologies.
- Experience working in 24/7 operational environments or live broadcast operations.
