Your New Role...

As a Media Planner you will plan, implement, and coordinate on-air promotion strategy, ensuring that programmes are promoted as effectively as possible to maximise audience awareness and drive ratings, while reporting to the Media Planning Executive Lead.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Create campaign media plans to effectively manage the available promotional airtime on the channel on a daily level
• Set campaign reach and frequency targets and monitor laydown to ensure placements met
• Use broadcast channel management software (IBMS & Gripit), to place promo campaigns into the daily schedules as per defined strategy
• Plan graphics to maximise promotion of key channel highlights
• Ensure editorial integrity of break content and messaging
• Monitor competitor breaks and on-air strategy
• Liaise with the production team to ensure promo delivery is on time and in the event of delays or programming changes, amend schedules and materials accordingly
• Provide in depth post-campaign analysis where required.Occasionally prepare and deliver presentations on campaign results and related insight

Qualifications & Experience...

• Experience in a media or broadcast environment is preferred but not required
• Experience of analysing and interpreting data
• High attention to detail
• An appreciation of creative issues and advertising
• Education - university level or higher
• Computer literate with good Excel & PPT
• Working proficiency in English
