Your New Role

We're looking for a dynamic, organised and strategically minded Marketing Director to lead the end-to-end marketing and communications for WBITVP. This is a pivotal role that shapes how our story is told globally across our formats, finished programming, and flagship industry events.

As the division's sole dedicated marketing lead, you will bring expertise, structure and creativity to a high-performing, fast-moving commercial division. You'll work closely with our internal creative and commercial teams, and external agency partners to deliver work of an exceptional standard.

This role blends big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will both set direction and actively make things happen, switching confidently between building frameworks, managing complex workflows and crafting high-impact campaigns and materials.

Your Role Accountabilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute an annual marketing strategy that supports WBITVP's commercial priorities, slate, and global partnerships
  • Proactively deliver the division's public narrative, ensuring our IP, talent, creative strengths and commercial wins are communicated consistently and compellingly
  • Embed an insight-led approach, using ratings, market intelligence and trends to inform activity

Marketing Operations & Materials
  • Lead the creation of high-impact marketing materials including decks, promos, sizzles, trailers, digital campaigns, catalogues, brochures, one-sheets, and event presentations (including stand presence where appropriate)
  • Build clear processes and timelines for global asset delivery, using project management tools for planning, tracking and visibility
  • Ensure all materials are purposeful, polished and aligned to strategic goals

Global Events & Trade Markets
  • Own the marketing delivery for London Screenings and MIPCOM, with participation in other markets (ATF, Content Americas, etc. where relevant)
  • Lead event-specific creative assets, showcases, trailers, e-marketing and on-site materials in co-ordination with the Creative team
  • Ensure WBITVP's global presence is cohesive, polished and distinctive.

Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration
  • Work with Creative Format Development & Production teams, the WBITVP sales network, international production offices and central WBD marketing and comms
  • Manage external creative agencies, with clear briefs, strong direction, and consistent quality oversight
  • Maintain productive collaboration across different markets, time zones and teams

Insights, Research & Performance
  • Partner with Warner Bros. Discovery research teams to brief, track and distribute global ratings and performance insights
  • Ensure data and analysis inform planning, campaigns, and commercial conversations.
  • Share insights regularly with production offices, sales executives and global partners

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a marketing leader who brings structure, clarity and creative confidence to their work. Someone who enjoys shaping ideas and making them happen, and who can balance the strategic with hands-on in a fast-moving, globally connected environment.

You'll be comfortable moving between different projects and priorities, keeping teams aligned and information flowing smoothly. You naturally bring order to complexity, setting up frameworks, establishing good habits and helping others work more effectively together.

You'll have a sharp eye for quality, a practical approach to solving challenges and a collaborative working style that builds trust across departments, territories and time zones. And, importantly, you'll bring genuine enthusiasm for television and the opportunity to help shape how we present our content and our story to the world.

Experience & Skills

We welcome applicants from production, distribution, entertainment or adjacent industries. What matters most is transferable expertise, strong marketing instincts and a passion for television.

You should bring:
  • Significant experience leading marketing campaigns, brand development or global comms in a creative or commercial environment
  • A strong understanding of multi-market or international workflows (production companies, territories, time zones).
  • Experience managing complex stakeholders and external agencies
  • Confidence developing marketing assets across digital and traditional channels.
  • Strong project-management capability, ideally with experience using Monday.com or similar tools
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills - able to craft compelling, concise materials.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and modern digital asset tools (Canva or similar).
  • A genuine passion for TV content, formats and the global entertainment landscape

Working at WBITVP

You'll be part of a global creative business where independence, collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking are valued. You'll work with teams across multiple territories, with calls sometimes falling earlier or later to connect with colleagues in the US, Australia and New Zealand.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the marketing direction of a major global formats business, with the autonomy to build frameworks, champion new ideas and deliver work that will be seen by partners and buyers worldwide.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.

How We Get Things Done...

This last bit is probably the most important! Here at WBD, our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done. You can find them at www.wbd.com/guiding-principles/ along with some insights from the team on what they mean and how they show up in their day to day.
