Your New Role...

This role will be a key player in driving business and data-driven operations across the theatrical business at WB. As part of the Motion Picture Group's strategy and operations function, this individual will lead strategic analyses, lead execution of business processes, own data-driven documents and frameworks, evaluate performance data, and lead other relevant workstreams that help drive the business operations forward for the division.

This is a cross-functional role that requires analytical rigor, executive level collaboration, ownership of key deliverables, and a passion for movies. The Manager will work closely with stakeholders in Production, Marketing, Finance, and Distribution to help shape the studio's approach to development, production, and go-to-market strategy.

Your Role Responsibilities...

  • Support Greenlight and Slate Analyses: Help to build and maintain financial and audience models that support project greenlighting and portfolio planning. Gather and structure inputs from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Analyze Performance Across Windows: Track and evaluate performance of WB titles across key metrics (e.g., box office, home entertainment, streaming). Assist in identifying trends and benchmarks to contextualize performance. Collaborate with Finance to understand profitability of film slate.
  • Film Market Research & Competitive Tracking: Support competitive analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, customer behavior, and new technologies that will help inform business strategy.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Own the development and distribution of dashboards and recurring reports for key stakeholders. Ensure data accuracy and interpretability.
  • Presentation & Insight Development: Help distill analytical findings into clear, visual summaries and presentations tailored to executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct deep dives to answer specific business questions around divisional title performance, slate composition, long-term slate planning and capital allocation, utilization of IP, etc.
  • Business Process Development: Develop and lead new MPG business processes by collaborating with stakeholders across the division
  • Project Management: Serve as key point person for team projects that require collaboration and input from other teams within MPG and the broader company

Qualifications & Experience...
  • Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic planning in a media/entertainment context
  • Analytical Capabilities: Ability to conduct high velocity analyses, including financial and business models, to drive strategic and operational insights
  • Presentation Skills: Comfortable building polished presentations to facilitate executive-level decision-making
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort presenting to senior leaders; conscientious and emotionally intelligent
  • Team & Collaboration: Proactive and collaborative team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
