Your New Role
The Chile Security Manager will oversee all security operations at the Machasa site, ensuring the protection of personnel, assets, and facilities while directing the schedules and day-to-day activities of the contracted security team and responding to daily security needs. Working in conjunction with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Security (WBDGS) senior management, the manager will support the development and implementation of effective security policies, recommend and execute upgrades to perimeter and internal security systems, and coordinate security planning for large-scale events and VIP visits. This role will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining guard and monitoring protocols, ensuring that all security personnel are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties, including conducting patrols, managing access control and surveillance systems, issuing access credentials, and responding to security incidents to ensure seamless operations throughout the organization.

Your Role Responsabilities
1. Security Operations Management
- Oversee daily security operations for assigned facilities, ensuring the protection of personnel, assets, and property.
- Direct the scheduling, supervision, and performance of security teams (including contracted and in-house personnel).
- Ensure security personnel effectively conduct patrols, manage access points, administer surveillance systems, and respond to incidents.
2. Policy, Procedures & Compliance
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of effective physical security policies and procedures across the assigned region(s).
- Ensure compliance with established corporate guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain enforcement protocols for guard operations, monitoring activities, and access control systems.
3. Personnel Training & Development
- Ensure all security personnel are properly trained, equipped, and capable of performing their duties.
- Coordinate onboarding and ongoing training related to patrol operations, access control systems, surveillance use, incident reporting, emergencies, and business unit interaction.
- Lead employee coaching, performance expectations, communication, and discipline in collaboration with People & Culture/Labor Relations as applicable.
4. Incident and Emergency Response Planning
- Develop and implement response strategies for emergency situations and security-related incidents.
- Lead or support incident investigations and coordinate appropriate reporting, escalation, and follow-up actions.
- Work collaboratively with leadership, business units, and government authorities during critical situations.
5. Security Technology & Infrastructure Enhancement
- Recommend and support upgrades to perimeter, internal physical security systems, access controls, and surveillance technology.
- Oversee the management and operation of security systems, including camera surveillance, alarm responses, access credential issuance, and system troubleshooting.
- Evaluate current infrastructure and propose solutions to strengthen physical security posture.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Internal Communications
- Work collaboratively with senior management and cross-functional departments (Facilities, People & Culture, Labor Relations, Legal, Executive Offices, etc.) to support security operations and initiatives.
- Facilitate communication with security personnel by addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and building trust through transparent leadership.
- Develop and deliver security awareness briefings, presentations, or training to internal business units as needed.
7. Event, Production, & Executive Protection Support
- Coordinate and manage security planning for VIP visits, special events, studio operations, and large-scale employee gatherings.
- Assess event risk and ensure appropriate staffing, procedures, and security controls are in place.
- Work with internal partners, studios, vendors, and law enforcement when required for elevated security needs.
8. Administrative, Budgetary, and Reporting Responsibilities
- Support administrative and operational documentation, data reporting, and compliance tracking related to security operations.
- Provide input on staffing needs, vendor management, contract oversight, and budget planning.
- Participate in decision-making regarding performance management, staffing recommendations, and employee development.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to work on-site, Monday through Friday in a high-activity environment.
- Minimum 5+ years leading site-level physical security operations, preferably in high-volume facilities, corporate environments, or large campuses.
- Demonstrated experience managing outsourced/third-party security personnel and contracted guard services, including performance oversight and contract compliance.
- Proficiency using and administering access control systems, CCTV monitoring platforms, credential management, and visitor control processes.
- Experience overseeing guard schedules, staffing plans, access badge issuance, and operational system administration.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, teamwork-oriented attitude, able to lead and motivate large security teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administrative and computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to produce reports, track metrics, and maintain records.
