The Job
We are seeking a Manager, Partner Relations to own the day-to-day operating relationship with our platform partners, primarily Google Play and the Apple App Store. This role is accountable for driving platform outcomes across featuring nominations, LiveOps event card pipelines, major beat pitches, and platform policy navigation.
You will also support evaluation of new distribution channels and emerging storefronts, helping translate opportunities, requirements, and constraints into clear guidance and actionable plans for game teams.
This role sits at the center of multiple workstreams and requires strong partner management, operational rigor, and the ability to align cross-functional teams around timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
The Daily
Partner Management
- Own day-to-day platform partnerships for Google Play and the Apple App Store, serving as the primary contact for WB Games' mobile portfolio.
- Build and maintain trusted partner relationships, driving clear communication, tight follow-through, and effective expectation management on both sides.
- Represent the business in partner meetings and industry events as needed; capture partner priorities and convert them into actionable internal plans.
Program Execution
- Drive featuring and merchandising strategy end-to-end: identify opportunities, develop pitch narratives, coordinate nominations/submissions, and manage follow-through to decision and launch.
- Lead the LiveOps merchandising pipeline (e.g., In-App Events, promotional placements): manage calendars, requirements, submission timelines, approvals, and launch readiness.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Data Analytics, Creative Services and game teams to align roadmaps, finalize positioning, and ensure delivery of platform-ready assets and messaging.

Strategic Initiatives
- Develop and execute platform partnership plans aligned to portfolio goals, including quarterly focus areas, tentpole beats, and priority asks.
- Evaluate and advance new distribution opportunities (e.g., Epic and other emerging storefronts): assess requirements and operational impacts, synthesize risks/tradeoffs, and recommend next steps.
- Identify and pursue relevant partner programs, pilots, and initiatives that can drive incremental visibility and growth.
Operational Excellence
- Manage platform escalations and issue resolution, including submission blockers, policy questions, and compliance-related concerns; coordinate triage, escalation paths, and stakeholder alignment to unblock timelines.
- Produce partner-ready and leadership-ready materials (pitch decks, briefing docs, status recaps, business reviews, portfolio updates) with clear, concise communication.
- Track outcomes and learnings from featuring, LiveOps placements, and partner initiatives; translate insights into improved strategy, operating cadence, and future submissions.
- Own recurring partner reporting rhythms (weekly status updates, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning materials) for Apple and Google, ensuring clear visibility into priorities, asks, outcomes, and next steps.
- Pull and synthesize performance data tied to platform programs (featuring, LiveOps placements, partner initiatives), translating results into concise insights and recommendations.
- Maintain dashboards/trackers for submissions, placements, and outcomes; identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve future pitches and program execution.
- Produce executive-ready summaries and quarterly reports (wins, learnings, risks, upcoming asks, and support needed).
The Essentials
- 4+ years experience in platform partnerships, publishing, account management, product marketing, or related roles in mobile games or consumer apps.
- Direct experience working with Apple App Store and/or Google Play partner programs, including featuring, merchandising, and submission requirements.
- Strong program management skills with proven ability to run multi-stakeholder workflows and hit deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including pitch writing and executive-ready summaries.
- Ability to translate platform priorities and constraints into practical guidance for internal teams.
- Comfort managing ambiguity, prioritizing quickly, and driving execution in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work across time zones to support partner meetings and deadlines.
- Occasional travel for partner meetings or conferences as needed.
The Nice to Hhaves
- Experience evaluating alternative storefronts or cross-platform distribution opportunities.
- Familiarity with LiveOps marketing rhythms, UA creative pipelines, and store merchandising best practices.
- Experience navigating policy and compliance topics (payments, age gating, privacy disclosures, regional requirements).

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $98,000.00 - $182,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
