You are some one who loves the media and entertainment landscape and is true fan of some of the biggest movie blockbusters and Cartoon animation.
You are Potterhead and a DC fan! You have grown up watching the best of animation of Cartoon Network and POGO and relate to the antics of Tom & Jerry and secretly imagine yourself either in Dexter's lab or as one of the Powerpuff girls. You are also someone who has marvelled at what life has to offer and how beautifully the ecosystem of the universe is, every time you've watched Discovery or Animal Planet. If you are shaking your head to any or all of this, then you should read on, as this is your golden opportunity to work hands-on with all of these brands!!!!
Job Responsibilities:
1. Network PR
Planning, budget allocation and execution of various PR exercise/ activities for all entertainment brands in India and South Asia that includes for NETWORK: programming/ content, ad sales, CNE, Interactive, talent/ executive publicity and brand related communications; Be responsible for implementation of all PR activities be it on-ground events, press conferences, media interviews or any media crisis for Turner.
2. Content Development
Creative writing of all press information including press releases, pitch notes, answers to media queries, key message documents. Documentation & PR report preparation for internal circulation.
3. Lead on managing agency relationship.
Be the POC for agencies across different brand verticals and ensure end-to-end coordination and delivery across the SOW. This would be in addition to being actively involved in media relations to pitch and deliver on industry/corporate /programming etc. stories for each network and brand. Also, manage and grow media contacts and develop strong relations with senior editors / reporters in the media universe.
4. Internal communication & coordination
Stakeholder Management: Develop an effective relationship with vertical heads/spokespeople to manage their profiles in the media while also working cohesively with all departments (sales, content, marketing, research, production etc.) to get briefs for PR activities, to update all concerned on PR delivery on a regular basis. identify opportunity to position the talk points in the relevant media to promote and showcase the strength of each department.
Working with the MD: Helping in drafting articles, speeches and internal communiques on behalf of the MD, would also mean
understanding and insight of the TV & media industry.
5. Regional PR Remit
• South Asia: Plan, execute any communication and strategy for South Asia market and sustain publicity with programming and sales support via media. Plan and implement strategy for any CN PR activity in Pakistan
• Asia Pacific: Project lead and asset management for PR regional (any official communication of any new global appointments, communication on behalf of the company authority. Develop PR roadmap & be responsible for the entire communication of the regional project; devise & lead communication regional/worldwide on the property; draw synergies and work with all internal stakeholders on the project: content, sales, marketing, interactive, distribution to ensure project is implemented across platforms
Job Requirement & Essentials:
Post Graduate Diploma in PR & Communications
Minimum 9-11 years of work experience in PR either with the agency or Corporate Communication or both. Team player, Proficient Media Contacts, Meticulous and organised style of work, Focused to deliver results, Multi-tasker, Ability to work under pressure & yet adhere to deadlines. You have an excellent command over the English language, especially written, and will be able to churn out documents and press release without assistance, if need be.
Shift Timings:- 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM IST
