The Job

Avalanche, a division of WB Games Inc., is seeking a Lead Producer to join our team of talented industry veterans working on a new online multiplayer RPG. This person will be responsible for the "how" and "when" of development, managing a multidisciplinary team to effectively deliver a high-quality, polished product.

This is a foundational role for a growing team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on production expert and leader who is passionate about establishing robust processes, running team rituals, and managing the project backlog. This role will be essential in defining "how we work" and will grow in scope as the team and project scale.

What part will you play?

  • Manage a multidisciplinary development team, focusing on building effective, empowering, and sustainable processes that deliver outcomes.
  • Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and execution of the team's work, turning creative vision into actionable, predictable plans.
  • Establish and run all team rituals in accordance with the project goals and roadmap
  • Own, manage, and configure the project backlog in JIRA, ensuring tasks are well-defined, prioritized, and tracked.
  • Collaborate closely with department leads (Design, Engineering, Art) to align on goals, manage dependencies, and ensure clear communication.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and impediments.
  • Work with leadership to report on project status, progress, and risks.

What do we need from you?
  • 8+ years of professional production experience in game development, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead level role.
  • Experience shipping at least one large-scale multiplayer online game title
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management
  • Expertise with project management tools including setup and workflow configuration.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams on AAA projects.
  • Deep understanding of game development disciplines and how to design processes that work for them
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills across all departments.
  • A passion for video games.


Good to Have
  • A passion for online multiplayer RPGs and experience with live-service games.
  • Experience managing external development partners and outsourcing.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $140,000.00 - $260,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
