Your New Role
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Lead for the Financial Contracts Reporting & Administration Participations department. The FCRA Participations department handles contractual reporting to talent and co-production companies on all of Warner Bros. film, television, home entertainment, games, and new media libraries. It's an exciting, fast paced organization that provides a unique opportunity to learn many aspects of the company---from production to initial release through all downstream channels of distribution. FCRA provides excellent opportunities to learn the entertainment industry and offers a robust year-round training program.
The Lead position is responsible for reviewing work of Senior Financial Analysts, and performing research and analysis to support the Participations Reporting teams. This position reviews and understands contractual agreements, abstracts, and other related written documentation. Additionally, the Lead will be responsible for enhancing departments systems and tools through involvement in system design and testing; and improving business processes.

- Performs special projects, analysis, and research, including running and/or analyzing various reports from multiple systems and SAP. Communicates with a broad set of individuals within FCRA to resolve identified issues. Delivers presentations to management and staff.
- Reviews work prepared by SFAs, including interest calculations, home entertainment statements, term deal calculations and buyout analyses. Provides feedback on reviewed work. Analyzes expiring distribution deals and reviews locked balances for the Reporting teams.
- Supervises the workflow of staff; answers questions from SFAs
- Identifies improvements and enhancements related to FCRA's participations systems and processes.
- Delivers and attends technical and conceptual training sessions
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years previous experience in a finance, accounting, auditing or IT environment a plus.
- Senior financial analyst experience a plus.
- Experience in a large corporate environment a plus.
- Experience working with blended teams and multiple time zones a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required. (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Information Systems preferred).
- Strong to expert competency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
- Must have strong competency in working with multiple systems, applications and SAP; must be willing to learn new IT applications.
- Knowledge of mathematical concepts and algebra required.
- Excellent analytical skills required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required, including development, documentation, and delivery of training materials.
- Strong overall understanding of Participations, including ability to read and understand digests and abstracts of legal agreements required.
- Must have ability for progressive responsibility/promotion within the organization.
- Must have strong planning and organizational skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to understand and communicate with operational, financial, IT and executive personnel.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks effectively, efficiently, with flexibility to changing priorities.
- Must be a team player with high-level of interpersonal skills and customer-focus.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be a quick learner who is results-oriented.
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $67,893.00 - $126,088.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
