Your New Role
Promotes WB films on East Coast and assists West Coast team in various capacities.
Your Role Responsibilities
- Work across various publicity teams to pitch and secure coverage with 50+ National and local outlets-with a focus on east-coast based press-on behalf of the studio's slate.
- Assist team in pitching for all facets of press campaigns across multiple platforms - broadcast, print, online; long-lead, fast-breaking, first looks, seasonal previews, etc.
- Assist other teams as needed special events, press junkets, press days and screenings. Assistance includes but is not limited to venue outreach, photographer outreach, press lines, talent handling responsibilities, screening check-in, etc.
- Participate in brainstorming meetings and helps to develop screening strategies and film positioning.
- Work to secure major key beats to film campaigns, including but not limited to trailer debuts, exclusive material placement, and print/digital features with actors, filmmakers, and BTL talent.
- Work with the team and publicity directors to develop and maintain close relationships with assigned press, executives, talent and talent reps including publicists, managers, and agents.
- Work to create synergetic campaign beats across WBD companies.
- Manages screening invites, lists, and RSVPS.
- Manage WOM opportunities in New York as needed for release and awards campaigns.
- Manage and staff press screenings for the New York team.
- Cover primary talent in various capacities such as press days, junkets, premieres, Q&As, interviews, broadcast appearances, film festivals, awards shows, etc.
- Create and help to maintain talent schedules, internal calendars, status reports, and research documents related to film campaigns.
- Demonstrate adaptability and resourcefulness in navigating the fast-paced entertainment industry.
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3-4 years' publicity experience in a studio, network, agency or publicity firm is preferred
- College Degree or equivalent experience required
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively and tactfully with the media, management, talent and the general public.
- Good organizational and follow up skills required. Attention to detail also required while being able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in high pressure situations, deal with personalities all of kinds, be flexible to change required, have a proactive attitude and ability to anticipate needs.
- Must be able to work some evenings and weekends as needed to assist with events.
- Good administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Ability to think creatively and outside of the box.
- Knowledgeable about social media sites, apps, television ratings, and trends.
- Must be pro-active and able to adapt to all environments.
- Must have a love of entertainment and knowledgeable on the entertainment industry and trends.
- Highly responsible, discreet, and sensitive with confidential information.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,006.00 - $78,010.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
