Your New Role...
Join WBD's Pan-Nordic Theatrical team as Head of Sales, where you'll drive revenue growth, strengthen exhibitor partnerships, and ensure WBD remains an industry frontrunner. You'll have full ownership of theatrical sales, contract negotiations, and B2B opportunities. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, working with talented peers, and the chance to shape direction in a dynamic entertainment market.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with current and future exhibitors, identifying new business opportunities.
- Maximise theatrical revenue throughout the full release cycle, balancing cultural and commercial priorities.
- Oversee contract negotiations and manage exhibitor relations to secure favourable outcomes.
- Manage the holdover process and explore innovative tools to optimise performance.
- Keep stakeholders informed of upcoming release plans and market developments.
- Collaborate with marketing and promotions to deliver B2B initiatives, premium ticket sales, and events.
- Provide accurate forecasting and analysis to inform strategic choices.
- Represent the sales function in internal and external meetings, acting as a reliable ambassador for WBD.
- Liaise with finance on accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-up with partners.
- Travel as required for screenings and key industry engagements.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Proven experience in theatrical sales and a strong insight of the film industry.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-focused environment.
- Strong data-driven skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Effective choice-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Passion for film and commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Inclusive approach, comfortable working across Nordic markets.
- Drive to continuously improve processes and deliver results.
