Get hands-on experience in supporting daily accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating closely with teams across EMEA, Nordics, and LATAM.
The Program consists of a 12-week Internship in one of WBD's Accounting segments: Networks, Studios, and DTC.
START DATE: July 1st 2026
Your responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly journal entries to ensure the accuracy and completeness of revenue reporting within the EMEA region.
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, SEC schedules, and bad debt provision calculations.
- Collaborate in performing a detailed quarterly balance sheet analysis for the EMEA region and share findings with finance leaders, including the WBD Chief Accounting Officer.
- Provide active support for the implementation of internal controls in line with the SOX framework.
- Assist with both internal and external audit procedures as required.
- Manage "Film and Series" assets and amortization for various WBD channels, including but not limited to TVN, Discovery, Animal Planet and Eurosport.
- Participate in Fixed Assets Accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and periodic reviews; reconciling intercompany balances and resolving differences; analyzing accruals and prepayments.
Qualifications:
- Currently in the final year of a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in core accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Active involvement in student organizations, demonstrating initiative and leadership potential.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- A proactive, open-minded, and motivated approach to learning and professional development.
- A strong analytical mindset paired with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Fluency in both English and Polish.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
