Your New Role

As a key member of the Studio Controllership team, the Director, Global Studios Content Accounting is responsible for managing the consolidation and by-title reporting process as well as the ultimates process and film cost accounting for Television Product produced or acquired by Warner Bros. Television according to Film Accounting Standards ASC 926 for actuals.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP) and financial statements
  • Deep understanding of the Television business
  • Divisional or corporate reporting experience a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required; familiarity with developing & utilizing macros in Excel required
  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management
  • Strong managerial skills
  • SAP BW/BPS experience extremely helpful


Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in an accounting/forecasting or related environment required
  • Previous experience in public accounting and/or the entertainment industry required
  • 3-5 years of Supervisor experience required
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Economics or related field required, advanced degree preferred
  • CPA required

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $146,300.00 - $271,700.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
