Your New Role...

The Digital Production & Content (Kids) Placement Interns will support various Warner Bros. Discovery Kids teams with digital engagement across all platforms, including YouTube, ROBLOX experiences and Mobile Apps.

There are a variety of Placement positions within the Digital Production & Content (Kids), therefore the below job description is not exhaustive of all activities you may undertake during your internship.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Support the day-to-day activities of the Kids YouTube Digital team.
  • Fulfil the weekly make list for our YouTube channels contemplating editing of clips, compilations, producing thumbnails and writing metadata.
  • Improve editing skills using Adobe Premiere, design skills using Adobe Photoshop and copywriting skills for YouTube and social media with focus on SEO.
  • Know what is current and exciting in the YouTube space to bring new and fresh ideas that can contribute to growth and other business objectives.
  • Deliver promotional materials for ROBLOX and Mobile Apps (e.g. Cartoon Network Climate Champions, Game Box) and assist the team with the delivery of key digital launches. This includes the production of short form video content (shorts), store front assets (screenshots, thumbnails and app icons) and promotional banners (billboards and mastheads).
  • Gather industry insights into ROBLOX, Apps, YouTube and other platforms and present key trends and new experiences back to the Digital Content Team.


Qualifications & Experience...
  • You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2028.
  • Passionate about our Kids brands (Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, Boing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with social platforms and trends (YouTube, TikTok etc.).
  • Video / image production knowledge.
  • Knowledge Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • An interest in gaming platforms (ROBLOX, Minecraft and Fortnite) is desirable.
  • Able to manage projects, processes and resources to produce desired outcomes.
  • Well-organised and show excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively.
  • Interested in a career in digital production, gaming, or digital design.


The Internship...
  • Salary: £27,000 p/a
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Start Date: 6th July 2026
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.
  • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers' series, special screenings and more.
  • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!


Next Steps...
  • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 1st February (you will not be able to apply after this date).
  • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 8th February.
  • Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in February.
  • Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place in April.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
