Your New Role

This role is part of the in-house Postproduction team and will be providing support services to the post-production team (employees and freelancers).
As an experienced Booker, will take a key role within the team by managing multiple projects from the initial start-up meetings to final invoicing. Provide excellent client service at all times, both face to face and in written communication, as well as have detailed knowledge of Postproduction workflows.

Your Role and Accountabilities

• Book and schedule freelance cutters & editors
• Create contracts and track all required paperwork for compliance
• Create weekly and long-term post-production plans
• Liaise with production teams to source editors and cutters
• Troubleshoot of post-production issues
• Process invoices of freelance editors
• Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and workflow developments

Qualification & Experience

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Systems affinity
  • Understanding of post-production processes
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Personable, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a small team
  • Extensive experience communicating with production personnel, both verbally and in writing
  • Proven experience managing a forward-looking post-production schedule to ensure optimal utilization of facilities and staff
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a post-production or production environment

• On-site work with some flexibility for WFH (1-2 times per week WFH max)

Diese Position ist Teil des internen Postproduktions-Teams und unterstützt sowohl festangestellte Mitarbeitende als auch Freelancer im Bereich der Postproduktion.

Als erfahrene/r Booker/in übernehmen Sie eine zentrale Rolle im Team, indem Sie mehrere Projekte von den ersten Kick-off-Meetings bis zur finalen Rechnungsstellung koordinieren. Sie gewährleisten jederzeit einen exzellenten Service gegenüber internen und externen Kunden - sowohl im persönlichen Austausch als auch in der schriftlichen Kommunikation - und verfügen über fundierte Kenntnisse der Workflows in der Postproduktion.

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

  • Buchung und Einsatzplanung von freiberuflichen Cuttern und Editoren
  • Erstellung von Verträgen sowie Nachverfolgung aller erforderlichen Unterlagen zur Sicherstellung der Compliance
  • Erstellung von wöchentlichen sowie langfristigen Postproduktionsplänen
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Produktionsteams zur Besetzung von Editoren und Cuttern
  • Unterstützung bei der Lösung von Problemen innerhalb der Postproduktion
  • Prüfung und Bearbeitung von Rechnungen freiberuflicher Editoren
  • Kontinuierliche Information über neue Technologien und Entwicklungen im Bereich der Postproduktions-Workflows


Qualifikationen & Erfahrung

  • Ausgeprägte Organisationsfähigkeit sowie sehr gutes Zeitmanagement
  • Hohe Systemaffinität und sicherer Umgang mit relevanten Tools
  • Gutes Verständnis der Prozesse in der Postproduktion
  • Fähigkeit, auch unter Zeitdruck präzise zu arbeiten und enge Deadlines einzuhalten
  • Teamorientierte und kommunikative Persönlichkeit mit Freude an der Zusammenarbeit in einem kleinen Team
  • Umfangreiche Erfahrung in der mündlichen und schriftlichen Kommunikation mit Produktionsteams
  • Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der vorausschauenden Planung von Postproduktionskapazitäten zur optimalen Auslastung von Ressourcen und Mitarbeitenden
  • Ausgeprägte Detailgenauigkeit und sorgfältige Arbeitsweise
  • Mindestens drei Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung in der Postproduktion oder im Produktionsumfeld
