Your New Role

BMT II

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Sorts and ships recycle materials to recycling center
  • Picks up and delivers pallets and large production equipment for production
  • Performs daily zone checks assigned looking for any maintenance issues
  • Fire extinguisher monthly inspections
  • Keeps inventory on attic stock
  • Escorts contractors for inspections
  • Replaces light bulbs
  • Hangs artwork, dry erase boards, clocks, and signage.
  • Clears loading dock areas of pallets and large debris.
  • Fuels and maintains vehicles. Applies vehicle tags annually.
  • Installs and replaces acoustic ceiling tiles.
  • Perform roof inspections and clears debris.
  • Assists other trades and departments as needed.
  • Special Events and small moves conference room set ups.
  • Assist with corporate events and town hall meeting set ups.
    • This includes general maintenance tasks and directly supporting event staff.
  • Supports Studios with shoots requiring special equipment or staging.
  • Assist different departments on smaller conference room setups.
  • Project / Contractor Support
  • Escort contractors performing annual fire extinguisher inspections.
  • Escort fall protection inspectors
  • Escort man lift and other heavy equipment inspectors.
  • Respond to project related tasks and issues as needed.
  • Zone Checks
  • Inspect assigned zones for any issues or repairs daily.
  • Make repairs on general maintenance issues found.
  • Take notes and have work orders created for work outside BMT II duties.
  • Admin- enter time, review, and close out work orders.


Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years in commercial maintenance. Must possess a detailed working knowledge of systems and structures, tools, test instruments, and proper procedures related to the maintenance, and repair of commercial building equipment and systems. Experience with common plumbing system maintenance and repairs is a plus. Some working knowledge of OSHA practices and procedures
  • High School diploma or equivalent. 2 years of trade school or apprenticeship program, 3 years additional practical experience can be substituted for schooling. Certifications for man lift, forklift, or related equipment is a plus.
  • Installation, and repair of all common commercial building maintenance tasks. With minimum assistance, should be able to determine the reasons for systems or structure malfunctions, and decide upon corrective actions and procedures to ensure proper and timely repairs.
  • A current Georgia state drivers license is required.
  • Must travel to various locations throughout the facility and grounds. Conditions encountered may include extremes in temperature, dust, and noise levels which may require special protective devices and/or clothing. Climbing ladders, scaffolding and working from man lifts. Some travel away from facility and grounds may be required.
  • Must understand proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment in all environments. May be subject to 24/7 calls for onsite emergencies and inclement weather. Employee will be required to carry, while on duty, a tool pouch with assigned tools.
