Your New Role...

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Associate Technical Production Manager to support our dynamic portfolio of digital live production brands. This role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless execution of live and recorded productions across platforms including Bleacher Report, House of Highlights, Food Network, CNN, and internal corporate events.

You'll work closely with technical directors, producers, engineers, and creative teams to manage the technical aspects of production, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and maintain high standards of broadcast and streaming quality.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Live Production Support: Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of live digital productions, ensuring all technical elements are functioning optimally.
  • Technical Operations: Create detailed tech books and documentation for live shows, supporting both on-premises and cloud-based control rooms. Manage workflows involving IP-based and bonded cellular transport systems, and coordinate intercom system configurations.
  • Signal Flow Management: Monitor and manage signal paths for live and recorded content, ensuring proper routing and quality control.
  • Platform Coordination: Collaborate with streaming and social media teams to ensure proper delivery of content across platforms (YouTube, Instagram Live, TikTok, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting: Provide real-time technical support during live events, resolving issues related to video, audio, and network connectivity.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in inventory management, maintenance schedules, and upgrades of production gear.
  • Cross-Brand Collaboration: Support productions across multiple brands, adapting to varying workflows and creative styles.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain logs of technical setups, issues, and resolutions for future reference and process improvement.

Qualifications & Experiences...

  • 2-4 years of experience in live production or technical broadcast operations.
  • Strong understanding of production workflows, including signal flow, encoding, and live streaming.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Ross Carbonite, Evertz Magnum Routers, Evertz Dreamcatcher, RTS Intercom Systems, Calrec Audio Consoles, vMix, Dante, and NewTek NDI.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, multi-brand environments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on production schedules.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for digital media, sports, entertainment, and news content.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud-based production tools and remote workflows.
  • Knowledge of IP-based systems and virtual production environments.
  • Familiarity with Warner Bros. Discovery brands and their digital content strategies.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $74,271.00 - $137,931.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
