Your New Role...
Global Franchise at Warner Bros. Discovery is chartered with identifying and driving the maximization of the long-term value of WBD's beloved and iconic franchise IP. Examples of this IP include Batman, Superman, Harry Potter, Looney Tunes and beyond. The Analyst, Portfolio Management & Analytics plays a key role in supporting the Dir, Portfolio Management and Analytics and broader Global Franchise team in this charter with a particular focus on measuring the strengths of our brands and franchises and informing opportunities and priorities.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Support efforts to identity franchise white space opportunities for WBD across international markets and consumer segments
- Measure and drive strategy for WBD Global Brands and Franchises across the franchise building cycle, informing the 5 yr strategic plans for WBD Global Brands and Franchises
- Support market and audience based growth planning, to inform 5 yr Franchise portfolio strategies on a market and audience basis
- Develop quantitative analysis for ad hoc and ongoing cross-franchise projects, such as YouTube Kids, brand architecture, franchise success indicators, gaming engagement operational frameworks or advanced franchise analytics
- Use quantitative measures to assess WBD performance in the family entertainment space, including spend analysis and other financial measures
- Support the development of qualitative and quantitative approaches to addressing franchise strengths and opportunities in order to inform enterprise strategy and activation
- Drive analytic and financial modeling for assessing franchise strength and opportunity
- Engage in financial data assessment for franchises, particularly regarding consumer spending and franchise financials to measure opportunity
- Engage in conducting market research or gathering other analytic needs in support of franchise business questions. At times drive bespoke studies
Qualifications & Experience...
- Minimum of 0-2 years experience working in analytics, management consulting or finance/investment banking
- Exposure to the media and entertainment industry (through internships, classwork, work opportunities, etc.)
- Proven success in project management and execution
- Experience in and excitement for brand and franchise analytics, such as customer research, market data sources and financials
- College degree required
- Ability to convert story and narrative to product and experiences
- Ability to think strategically in planning across consumer touch points
- Experience with data, and the ability to derive insight and strategy from multiple data sources
- Ability to use SPSS and similar statistical software or desire to learn
- Experience in excel modelling or other financial data work
- Excellent project management, prioritization and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and excellent judgment
- Proven track-record of managing workflow to meet tight deadlines while handling high volume of work
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive demeanor
- High proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $62,797.00 - $116,624.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
