As a Senior Manager of Portfolio Automation & Analytics, you will play a vital role in scaling operational excellence, portfolio visibility, and strategic alignment across Walmart's global tech organization. This role focuses on governance, reporting, automation, and the application of GenAI tooling to streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and improve time-to-value. In addition, you will oversee initiatives through the end-to-end lifecycle-from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization-acting as a bridge between technical and business teams. You'll draw on market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis to inform portfolio priorities, maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, and partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate execution, enable self-service insights, and drive adoption of GenAI-powered tools and processes with consistency across global teams.

About Team:
Focusing on customer, associate and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,200 retail units, operating in 23 countries such as Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Mexico and South Africa to name a few.

What you'll do:

  • Lead strategic portfolio planning and execution, ensuring initiatives align with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes. Integrate customer insights and market analysis into prioritization, applying product-thinking to balance value and feasibility. Coordinate cross-functional planning across Product, Engineering, and Program teams, managing dependencies and risks.
  • Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Jira, enhanced with GenAI for predictive insights and automation. Define and track OKRs, delivery metrics, and value realization, while standardizing portfolio health updates. Monitor post-launch performance and iterate based on feedback and analytics.
  • Deploy AI-powered solutions to optimize workflows and accelerate decision-making. Drive adoption of GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini), foster experimentation through pilots and A/B testing, and integrate tooling into scalable, self-service platforms.
  • Engage senior leadership with clear, data-driven narratives. Build stakeholder consensus, advise cross-functional teams, and lead global enablement efforts including training and change management. Stay ahead of industry trends to keep portfolio strategy future-ready.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience: 6-8 years in portfolio/product management, consulting, tech operations, or product strategy.
  • Prioritization: Ability to prioritize work based on customer needs, value, and measurable outcomes.
  • Product Lifecycle: Skilled in managing initiatives from ideation to launch and iteration.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiar with Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Analytics: Strong analytical skills with a history of turning data into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent at executive storytelling and stakeholder alignment.
  • GenAI Tools: Experience using GenAI platforms like ChatGPT, Copilot Studio, Gemini for reporting, planning, or workflow automation.
  • Consulting Background: Experience in management consulting or enterprise strategy execution.
  • Agile & Lean: Familiarity with Agile delivery and Lean portfolio management.
  • Global Operations: Experience supporting or scaling operations internationally.
  • Innovation: Proven success in scaling automation, AI, and data-driven experimentation.
  • Education: Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or MS preferred

Sunnyvale, California US-04397:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
