Position Summary...

Want to be part of Walmart's last mile customer experience story? The Senior Manager for Last Mile Delivery is a critical leadership role that leverages your natural curiosity and inventive problem-solving talents to anticipate and work on the biggest opportunities in Last Mile.

As part of the Strategy Operations team, you will be responsible for catchment design and rollout strategy, a high priority and exposure role, requiring attention to detail, strong stakeholder management, and large program management background.

The Last Mile team works on fulfilling customer demand for everything in the store to the comfort of their home. We want our customers to have every option available to shop for their needs: wherever, whenever, and however they want it.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Leading strategic customer experience projects - Incubate, launch, test and scale high impact strategic projects that enable a better customer experience and wins loyalty for the last mile business
  • Improve operational efficiency - Anticipate, analyze, prioritize, and drive key problems and opportunities that impact customers and improve last mile experience
  • Evaluating and strengthening Last Mile Strategy - Stay two steps ahead by equipping yourself with latest industry research and insights that enable you to build a broader strategy for Last Mile
  • Building cross-functional relationships - Build and manage relationships with key partners within Walmart that power the business forward.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 - 6 years of experience in areas of operations management and/or business strategy at a fast-growing tech company/start-up or management consulting at a top-tier firm
  • MBA or a similar master's degree from a top-tier university, Masters in Operations / Supply Chain / Analytics / Computer Science
  • Leadership experience and technical/functional expertise in the following areas: management consulting, corporate strategy, customer experience, operations management (direct retail and / or consumer business experience is strongly preferred)
  • Experience driving large, complex, cross-functional processes; strategic planning experience preferred

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
