About the Onsite Energy Supply Chain team
Walmart Energy's Onsite Energy Supply Chain team is focused on bringing energy resilience, efficiency, and sustainability to our supply chain portfolio, which is currently undertaking a variety of initiatives (automation, HVAC, etc.) that have thrust Energy into the driver's seat as a key success lever for their organizational goals.

What you'll do:
- Sr. Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Walmart Energy objectives for Walmart's critical supply chain (SC) facilities, including oversight of new SC facility pipeline
- Conduct financial analysis of onsite energy investments for recommended sites
- Greenfield Site Development: Actively manage completion of critical activities for greenfield sites, including:
- Collecting inputs from various Supply Chain stakeholders for new sites. Stakeholders include:
- RDC network (retrofits and greenfields), PDC network (expansions, greenfields, legacy), and FC network (nextgens, nonsorts, ICCs, etc)
- Supply Chain Construction
- Real Estate
- Proto & Design
- Engage utility partnerships team to determine eligible utilities and relevant rate structure
- Engage Energy team to run Xendee model determining annual energy costs, ideal energy solutions and sizing
- Package relevant technical information, engage leadership review, and promote with key stakeholders
- Collecting inputs from various Supply Chain stakeholders for new sites. Stakeholders include:
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Implementation Plans: Develop and maintain integrated implementation timelines across construction, real estate, utilities, and energy teams to ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Support Renewable Energy Procurement Strategy: Assist in evaluating onsite versus offsite energy procurement options based on project feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and Walmart's sustainability goals.
- Utilize Project Management Tools and Dashboards: Maintain up-to-date project data using tools like Smartsheet, Power BI, or Salesforce to provide visibility to leadership and enable informed decision-making.
- Resilience Analytics: Learn the team's resilience model and deploy to support onsite energy cost analysis
- Contribute to Innovation and Pilots: Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., battery storage, microgrids, smart metering) for potential deployment in supply chain facilities through pilots or feasibility assessments.
- Risk and Contingency Planning: Identify risks to project timelines or budget (e.g., transformer delays, permitting issues) and propose mitigation strategies or alternate pathways.
- Business Case Support: Support business case analysis, presentation materials required for project approvals, leadership and stakeholder communication

What you'll bring:

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$110,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
