Job Description

Marketing Technology Strategy & Architecture

  • Own the vision and roadmap for Visa Marketing's technology stack
  • Lead martech consolidation initiatives targeting stack reduction and annual savings
  • Design unified data architecture integrating CDP, CRM, marketing automation, and analytics
  • platforms
  • Evaluate and integrate AI-native platforms—distinguishing genuine capabilities from marketing hype

AI Transformation Partnership

  • Partner with leadership to execute Visa Marketing's AI transformation agenda
  • Deliver technical infrastructure for AI pilots across Insights & Analytics, Content Generation, and Marketing Services
  • Architect agentic workflows for autonomous campaign optimization and real-time personalization
  • Build technical expertise that provides credibility for AI investment proposals

First-Party Data Platform Development

  • Lead architecture and implementation of unified first-party data strategy
  • Design privacy-compliant data infrastructure across global markets with varying regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Build marketing data clean room capabilities for secure partner collaboration
  • Create data-enriched AI optimization frameworks that demonstrate ROI vs. content-only approaches

Digital Production & Delivery Excellence

  • Improve technical delivery for B2B Marketing, Marketing Services, and client enablement programs
  • Build scalable digital production capabilities serving both internal marketers and external clients
  • Design solutions with 'Client Zero' mindset—internal capabilities that become monetizable products
  • Establish quality standards and execution judgment across technical delivery

Vendor & Partner Accountability

  • Hold technology partners and agencies accountable for delivery
  • Evaluate whether partners are creating real value or generating complexity to justify fees
  • Structure SOWs, SLAs, and governance frameworks that create genuine accountability
  • Provide technical credibility that strengthens stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD)

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 258,100.00 to 451,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
