The Opportunity:   

The successful candidate will join an experienced Test Engineering team responsible for evaluating Risk Services applications, which are essential for generating and delivering risk alerts.  Based in location Singapore, the candidate will be responsible for supporting Test Engineering efforts, including test automation for the Risk Systems applications. This role involves collaboration with the Risk Systems product development and Support team, Operations & Infrastructure, and other peer Test Engineering teams to maintain high levels of software quality and ensure seamless code releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

  • Collaborate on project testing strategy and execute tests as needed.

  • Support integration testing across teams.

  • Conduct UAT with stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with others to analyze, debug, resolve design and software issues.

  • Use Gen AI to speed up testing, maintain automation frameworks, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.

  • Set up and maintain test environments.

  • Perform hands-on testing on Linux and Windows.

  • Work closely with test leads and engineers, seeking technical guidance when necessary.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field with 6-24 months relevant working experience in the industry
  • Experience in Software Development in Test, especially for data-centric projects
  • Backend coding proficiency in Python or Java, including extending package/product capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, or Cucumber
  • Exposure to Gen AI tools and their use in tool development
  • Strong understanding of data structures and their operations
  • Comfortable using IDEs like Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Shell, Bash, or Python
  • Coder’s mindset with a focus on automation and team collaboration
  • Strong organizational skills in planning and deliver quality products on time
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem analysis, problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Eagerness to learn and stay current with emerging technologies
